Liz Youngs is a senior associate with New Venture Communications. She has more than 20 years of hands-on marketing and public relations experience having worked with numerous startup companies in addition to well established industry leaders.  Liz has managed media and analyst relations, strategic events and customer programs, bringing in unprecedented results for clients in all areas. 

BACKGROUND & RELATIONSHIPS

Senior Public Relations Associate.  Prior to joining New Venture Communications in early 2002, Liz worked with UpStart Communications, one of Silicon Valley’s leading technology PR firms.  During her time there, Liz managed media, analyst and product launch activities for BEA Systems, Times Ten Software, Novadiam and several other leading technology companies.  Following UpStart, Liz worked with Fleishman Hillard, one of the leading Public Relations firms around the world.  During the past several years, she has been responsible for:

• Managed and executed strategic media relations program with Codian, a world-class VoIP desktop video conferencing provider.  Winning product awards, garnering industry and vertical article placement, executive profiles and speaking opportunities.
• Building and managing the Media and Analyst Program with a team for the launch of BEA’s WebLogic Application Server, securing numerous product reviews, trend and feature articles, executive profiles and industry event management
• Managed communications for NFR Security, a leader in the Intrusion Prevention Security industry.  Secured 5-star product ratings, top product reviews, trend and feature stories.
